Game Keeper

This is another commissioned card
for a Game Keeper (if you did not know?)

Another Papermania 6 x 6 steeper card base
(I do like these as they are 300gsm and stand really
well and just a little different to the standard card).

Mat and layered may water coloured images onto
Papermania kraft card stock.

I have used Pilkington Lane woodland tree stamps,
using Forest Green, Corduroy Brown and
Shabby Shutters distress inks for the trees,
just so they are slightly different to each other.

Painted in some birds in the top right hand corner,
top left  using adhered three Boofle buttons.

From this angle (card below) I have used
a ribbon of leaves to enhance the right bottom
corner (back panel) and stamped in Walnut Stain
a man who is pointing his gun to shoot!

The front panel follows the same theme
of trees but I have only stamped the bottom of the trees,
so the card would flow and when shut it does look one
of the same trees.

I have stamped a cartoon character just for a
bit of fun whereby the duck is carrying the dog!

Used the John Bryer acrylic sentiment
and double sided ribbon to the corner.

I used the Inkylicious dusting brushed
with distress inks for the background colour.

Again very pleased with the finished results.

Country & Western Card

Another commissioned card for a
lady who loves country & Western.
I'm not into this subject, so I just hope
this card has captured it for her?

I decided to make a variation on a theme
(gosh some big words here) well I have been using stepper
cards lately, this card started as an offcut, but now
made into a different standing card.  I really like it.

The large metal brad holds the card together to stop
it falling over.  Papermania 300gsm card, mat a layered
using brown textured card and printed papers.

The back panel has music backing paper and
another mat and layer of similar coloured tartan
and a red gingham ribbon. The large metal
charm has a cowboy boot in the centre and
Chronology screw head brad to hold it in place.

The front flap panel is cut smaller, then you can see the
back panel and the extra tartan to the front section.
This panel is again mat and layered using the
same brown card with a jean backing paper.
I then downloaded images from Digi Web Studio (hat, boot
Cactus, horse shoes and sentiment). All edges of this card/images
have been inked in either a brown or red depending.
I added Ranger sprinkles to the star of the hat, cactus
and boots to add some bling.

The Birhtday sentiment is typed and printed from the
computer and gingham ribbon threaded though to finish
the themed card.

Farmer Fergi Here

I have been asked by a good friend if I would do some
commissioned cards for her family and here is one of them.

This is for a Farmer who loves Ferguson Tractors.

I have made a 6 x 6 stepper card, mat and layered onto kraft card (more vintage look)
my water coloured image.  I have used distress inks on this, painted the main images
and then used Inkylicious dusting brushes for the sky and forground.

Anitas ribbon, papermania kraft card and create a scene stamps.

Overall I am very pleased with the outcome of this.

Sorry everyone no excuse had the normal coughs and colds like everyone else, but I must have gone into a time warp or something as nothing has been happening with my blog. Well that's not strictly true I did do some blogging and put several projects into my drafts section only to find that all the pics etc disappeared, so it has taken me sometime to trust it again  Even now the spell checker does not work, so bear with me.

I have been busy in the last month or so with Demo's which is great, but I still cannot fathom why my blog has been so neglected??  Ether, Ether where are my projects gone!!!?

Never mind coming up are some new cards done in the last couple of days hope you like them?
