Single Water Coloured Stamps

This card was made using a 'Sheen Douglas' stamp and distress ink.

Once the image is stamped, use a small paint brush slightly damp to pull the ink to the
areas in the image you want to colour.
With the top image I used tapestry stamps to create a background for my mat and layer to sit on.

This image is stamped in the same way.
To create the aged look framing the stamped image, again I used distress inks,
it draws your eye to the image.

You can use up scraps of ribbon on the corners of pictures, just to add that touch of glam.
I think these images look great, they are quick to accomplish and look diffent with every ink colour used.

Tell me what you think!

Me to You Christmas

A selection of  'Me to You' decoupage Christmas cards.

This card has been layered onto snow flake design paper and embossed.  Edged with blue ink, polka dot ribbon placed in the corner. Doily has been edged in blue and pink ink to match design.

Flourish has been cut and a polka doodle flower with a me to you brad placed in the centre.
Another 'Me to You' decoupage, with three snow flake punched with small bead embellishment in centre mounted onto a flourish.

'Me to You sentiments.

Again a doily has been used as a layer behind the decoupage and a silver ink pad used to edge it.

Pink ink pad to edge the backing layer and blue ink pad to edge the decoupage circle.

Blue organza ribbon to add a touch of luxury to the corner and Me to You sentiment in opposite corner.

Here are a few free Christmas Card verses for your inserts:

Here's to a stress free Christmas
May your Christmas lights work..
...first time

Here's wishing you a Christmas
That’s as bright as candle glow
As merry as a snowman
And as nice as mistletoe

Merry Christmas
One and All.
Santa Clause
has come to call.
Plenty of Gifts
are under the Tree.
I think they're all
For you and me.

Money is short
Times are hard
Here is your
Handmade Christmas card

Watch where you step.
Watch where you go.
You may end up under the mistletoe

The following verse is a little rude be warned!

Jingle bells
Santa smells
Rudolf has BO
all the elf's have farted
now there isn't any snow.

Trinitage - Spotlight Technique

Trinitage - Spotlight Technique

With this series of cards I made them using la pashe trinitage sheets on to 6 x 6 card stock with a backing paper stamped with a greeting.

The front of the card I used the same image, one in black and white and a circle cut from a coloured sheet and mounted with dimension pads to make a spot light technique.

Each card has the front image the same as the inside image, but the inside image has three layered steps, so when the card is opened it is like a popup card.

La Pashe do various themes of trinitage for every occassion, these cards were done for people interested in old farming ways and racing.
