Ruby Anniversary
This is a commissioned card for
a ruby wedding anniversary.
The main card blank has been covered in a light fabric
of roses. The heart has been cut with an Xcut die onto
felt - gives some great textures.
Marianne die cut red paper for the corner.
Sentiment has been made on a computer, cut with a die
and chalks used for the edges to blend in with the theme.
The white leaves have also been coloured with chalks
to keep the theme going.

Chronology Stepper
Another Magazine Card
This stepper card was made for Creativity Magazine.
I have used the Chronology range.
I have cut out two windows and covered with
embossed/inked parchment papers.
All cogs and clocks have been die cut and the
sentiment has been embossed on metal.
I have also put an LED candle inside to shine through
the parchment/vellum windows.
Altered Book - Vintage
Altered Book
This is another diary that has been altered.
Again this was made sometime ago, but I had to
wait for it to be aired on Creativity TV.
Each page has been folded in half and then
inked all page edges.
I have used adhesive backed fabric paper to cover the
inside covers (lovely texture).
Xcut heart die and doily die have been used on
linen papers to add interest to the cover, along with
Sizzix flourishes and die cut flowers.
Each page will hold various notes and tags.
I have covered the outside of the book in grey paper
and stamped the heart which corresponds with the dies used.
Altered Book - Chronology
Altered Book
I made this sometime ago for Creativity TV
so could not show you my creations until it had
been aired.
This started life as a diary (unused) and I set about
folding each page, inking the edges to distress and age.
I have covered the back of the diary in brown paper, and
stamped the paper with cogs to blend in with the theme.
Various dies have been used, ie clocks, watches,
cogs etc to embellish
An Alphabet die has been used and each letter
adhered to pages so this book can hold notes or
telephone numbers etc in order.
Two pockets have been made to each cover to hold
secrete messages.
Metal brads holding metal embellishments.
Overall very pleased with the outcome.
Enjoy!
Horse & Foal
Hi I have several entries to make on my blog!
This card is a commission for a lady who's
job it is working at a stud farm.
I have mat and layered several matching coloured papers.
Used spellbinder die for the main image and distressed
the edges with inks (not shown well in the photo).
Used a Joy die for the bunting along with crystal
pearls in the corners.
I hope she likes this!
