Just Fun Wooden Door Hangers

Hello crafting again - I've had fun with these hangers

rather than just painting direct onto the wood I have

gone to town on these and covered them with

various papers. Used images that have been

stamped and coloured with promarkers.

 

 

I have also used my old Sizzix picket fence die

dusted with ink to create more of a scene.

The banner has been cut from scrap card and stamped

with alphabet peg stamps and the edges coloured to

blend in with the overall colour scheme.

 

Fabric flowers and Marianne dies used

on this hanger completes the look.

 

 

I am really chuffed with the finish.

Square Vintage Transport Tile Coasters

Tile coasters made using stamps by

'Stamps Away Pilkington Transport - Set 1 & 2'.  

I'm sure you know the famous Ali Reeves who is

marvellous using masks, stamps and all types of ink,

mica's etc to make really unique creations, well

these are her stamps and they are brilliant to

work with. I have used these stamps in many ways

in the past and I am sure they will continue to get

used as I go to many vintage rallies showing our

own old iron and increasingly I am being asked

to show craft project for which people then seem

to want to buy?

 

I have struggled to get good stamps of vintage transport

and tractors but these do really hit the mark. 

 

 

 

All coasters have been painted in acrylic paints and

sealed.  They have all be backed with bais felt in

either navy blue or wine red.

Circular Tile Coasters

Just started getting ready for a vintage show

whereby the country scene is very popular.

 

 

These tiles have all been painted with

acrylics and sealed to finish.  The back

have bais on dark blue or wine red.

Fly to the moon

 

Hi I have used LOTV stamps on this card.

Coloured the image with watercolour pencils and then

die cut and embossed prior to stitching onto Kraft

die cut circle. The sentiment is also stamped onto

Kraft card and cut with a circle punch.

My mat and layered papers are Papermania

spots and strips range.

 

I had great fun using the sewing machine on this,

I am not great at sewing, but it does seem to

add something to this card. I even got out

an old Fiskars border punch to use on the

Kraft card, I really must be firing on all cylinders

at the moment.

Vintage Transport - Bus

Hi this project is a tile that has been stamped and

painted with acylic paints.

This has then been sealed and a wine coloured

bais applied to the back.

Anyone for a coaster?

Gingerbread Mice - House Mouse

 

Hello yes I have another entry into my blog they

are coming thick and fast at the moment my mojo is

staying with me for once!

 

I have made a card using House Mouse designs

which has been mat and layered onto Papermania

spots and strips papers.

 

LOTV sentiment stamp and Marianne die cuts

Flight of Fancy

Hello again, well I do seem to love these bird cards

at the moment, so here is another creation.

 

This card is made using Quintessential Country

Garden paper stash and the sentiment is by LOTV. 

 

 

I have used some blue lace from my stash along

with two bird from the Quintessential CD

This card is made using Quintessential Country Garden

paper stash.  I have used a white 6 x 6 card blank

and mat and layered black card with the bird paper. 

 

The bird paper has been heat embossed depicting

the bird and flowers from the script background.

 

 

The sentiment is by LOTV on Kraft card with the

ribbon put through either side of it, to hold it in place.

 

 

The flower is cut from the paper stash and layered

using pinflair gel and a Boofle button with the same

Papermania capsule ribbon threaded through.

 

Wooden Door Hangers

 

I have painted three wooden door hangers

which my father made, in white artiste acyclic paint.

 

 

I then stamped two images one either side of each door

hanger and coloured using water colour pencils. 

 

 

 

I think the shading on these two are finally

looking quite good.
