Forever Friends Framed Card

This is another kit from the Forever Friends range.  This time it the whole frame that is mounted onto side panels ie the first layer goes straight onto the front of an A5 Card (portrait) then the next two layer get stuck by their edges on to a valley folded piece of card each side.  This makes the card have depth, but at the same time can be squeezed together to fit in an ordinary envelope,

I have embellished with read bead gems to give the wreath some bling.

Hope you like this!

Forever Friends Christmas Stepper Card

I have made a Christmas card using Forever Friends Christmas Stepper Card Kit.
These are very easy to make and one can embellish to their hearts content.

I have used a childs glitter stick to highlight the roof of the house and snow on the christmas tree, along with purple gems that look like baubles.  There is also many like pictures you can cut out and use, so I have cut the robbin out and a saying and placed in the bottom left hand corner to give a little more detail.

LOTV Stamps - Anniversary

This is an image I have stamped using versafine ink on to white card stock.
LOTV stamps are very well etched, so give lovely detailed images.

I have then used a design and cut around each stamp (see below) and water coloured each image in.

Then I have used distress inks to the edge to give some definition by drawing the eye into the picture.

I have then mat and layered two pieces of double sided paper (Pepper & Freinds 12 x 12 pad).  One I have punched two hearts into the top right hand corner and the top layer I have used a brad to turn the corner showing the other side and giving some extra interest to the design.  I have mat and layered the stamped image and used a brad in the bottom left corner of the image and stamped a verse on the opposite site.  I have then used my Craft Robo to cut out two tree branches to make the couple on the swing appear as if they are hanging from the branches.  I have used some satin ribbon folding it and stiching it in place along with two Petaloo flowers with some punched foliage, and an organza ribbon folded into a bow.
This was made for a friends 25th Wedding Anniversay.

I was very pleased with the finished result.

Card and Gift in one

This gift was made using a stepper card as before mat and layering, then using sepia ink to stamp countryside images before placing the painted and varnished coaster on to the front with hessian cord.

Card & Gift In One

Today I have made a stepper card.  I have covered the card in 'Pepper & Friends' backing paper (it's a shame, but this paper is double sided and we are not getting the benefit of the other side). I have then stamped using 'Create a Scene' stamps countryside and 'Versafine' vintage sepia and backed onto green card.

On the back of the card I have stamped onto backing paper,  mat and layered an area for the sentiment and writing area.  Again I have kept the same theme running and stamped in vintage sepia.

Finally I have added the gift, which is a coaster that I have stamped, painted, varnished and backed with baise.  I have then attached this to the card using hessian string.

I have made this all sound extremely quick and easy, but the varnish takes two days to dry on the coaster alone.

I do hope you enjoy this project as much as I did and I am very pleased with the finished result.
