Valentine Is Upon Us

Well it's that time of the year again - cupid is lurking!

 

I have a selection of five cards showing different

styles of Tatty Ted cards.

DoCraft blue textured card as the base and 

another piece folded and with two pieces of

grey card cut with an Xcut die for front and

back hole punched and red ribbon tied

through. Each fold decorated as desired

in this case with Tatty Ted papers,

stickers, toppers and sentiments.

 

 

 

 

The folded section is glued onto the mat and layered

section of the main card.  One corner of the

mat and layer in turned over to show the double sided

paper which is held in place with a pearl brad.  A

second piece of paper is then cut and glued onto

the grey layer with a sticker heart front the Tatty Ted

range poking out of the corner section.  White

pen used to make faux stitching on the blue card to finish.

This card is an A5 card kit.

 

 

BUT I have used the packaging on the inside of the card

with a die cut heart and ribbon being the only extras used.

 

 

Another card kit this time A4.

 

 

Again I have used the packaging the kit came in

for the inside of the card - Thifty Crafting!

 

 

This card is designed to look like an envelope which the

picture  does not really show well.

The flap  is a piece of white card shaped and covered

in backing paper and edged in red pen.  The

decoupage topper is backed onto black card. Two

backing papers adhered side by side on the base and black

pen used to simulate an envelope folds.  Strips of backing

paper twisted one end stuck behind topper.
