Telescopic Card/Decoration

Green card cut using scalloped circle Xcut nesting dies.
Boofle Christmas papers cut using Xcut circle die and
edges inked using Artiste dye ink.

Boofle card stickers used to remain flat, so the circles
will turn without a hitch.  Boofle ribbon and sentiment to
finish.  The large circle is backed with white card and a
sentiment stamped with space left to write on. A piece of
narrow ribbon attachedto the top layer, so the
card/decoration can hang.

Holiday ideas

Not a great picture for some reason??

This first card is from Imag-e-nation range
The whole image came from one of their A4 papers
I have only added some mat and layers on to a
6 x 6" white card blank.

This second card is a 6 x 6 white card made into an
easel card.  Terracotta card for mat and layering, Wellington
papers (for you & Wellingtons) and the sentiment with added twine.
The image is a digi stamp coloured with promarkers and cut
out with a Spellbinder oval die.  The stopper is Xcut
bookplate die and two grey gems.

Birdhouses

These birdhouses were a collaboration with dad, he made the wooden boxes starting with the top pictures here showing the smallest ones.

Four in all were made with blue tits and wrens featuring as the main bird on the front and differing designs up the sides, alone with different coloured roofs.
This next four pictures are showing the medium size bird houses.

The sides show a countryside theme some are of a farm and some of a corn mill
with horses etc., the opening side has a birdhouse bunting and trees

This is the largest bird house which also incorporates a bug box (ready made food source).
There is various stamped scenes on this box as there is more space to work with.

I have used water colour paints and sealer on these boxes as you cannot
use any oil based products or wood preservatives on birdhouses as this
can kill the birds if eaten.

Country Companions Easel Card

Stamped image coloured with water colours,
Xcut scalloped circle die then cut with a knife in
three places backed onto Lucy Cromwell papers.
Me to You sentiment, Xcut leaf and flower dies and ribbon
All paper edges have been inked and three gems
to act as a stopper.

Stamped scenes

If I am honest doing this type of stamping whereby
you make a scene is one of my favourite pastimes,
you just let your imagination run riot and of course
this does also get thwarted if you do not or cannot
find a stamp which you require.

The first card uses six different stamps and the masking
technique has been used to the full.

The colouring has been done using mainly
Promarkers and Distress water colours.

The fence was made using an old Sizzix die
coloured with inks and partly folded around
the mat and layered frame so it would open.

Again six stamps were used.

Seven stamps for this one.

I hope some of the images give inspiration as I am sure
the written words are just drivel, I am not the best at this.

Enamelled Tag

This tag was great fun and made to go onto a
paper bag as an embellishment.

The tag was stamped on both sides,
and water coloured.

Peter Rabbit - great stamps these and easy
to colour.

Once the tag was completely dry I sprayed with
clear enamel.

Paper Ribbon Wreath

As the title suggests this wreath is made using
strips of paper folded in half (Loops) and
adhered to the ring until it is completed covered.

I attached onto a piece of fine ribbon the gold bow and bell
to add further interest.

This project is more time consuming rather than difficult.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Well it has been sometime since my last blog
where does all the time go!

I have managed to squeeze in the time to make this
anniversary card which was a commission.

I started with an 8 X 8 Card blank shaped and covered
it with a double sided paper which I had forgot I
even had in the depths of my stash.  I then printed
the sentiment on to cream textured card and cut out
using Marianne dies.

I also used sizzix flourishes in the same papers to lay under
the flowers to give it that something!!

I put together paper flowers and embellished in
gold leaf paint here and there and adhered the whole
spray onto the card with silicone.

In the depths of may stash I found a glittered 50
number and three gold gems, way to go!!

The insert is also printed in the same cream textured
paper to keep the theme throughout.
