Tilly at Christmas

Tilly Daydream.

 

This is a stepper card made from two 5 x 5"

White card blanks.  Covered with spots and

strips Christmas papers.  Tilly Daydream

decoupage

 

 

 

The tree is made using the same papers, cut into

and half circle and folded.

 

Papermania sentiment with Christmas twine.

 

 

This is a great image and looks stunning.

Coast Cycle

 

This card is from the Hunkydory Range

'Hobbies & Pasttimes'

 

I have decoupaged the Coastal scene topper.  Cut up the

A4 baking card, so I had the picket fence only and bowed

this around my decoupage to add depth to the card 

 

 

Hunkydory card is very good quality and I decided to cut

all the space between the picked fence (I must be mad)

by hand using a scalpel, my hand was killing me by the time

I had finished, but I feel the overall effect was well worth it.

Brickwall Card

This is another card created for Creativity TV

 

It is a stamped image, water coloured and cut up

to look like a brick wall.

 

This can prove to be fiddly, so when I cut each brick

I placed them onto a semi sticky sheet to keep all

the pieces in the right order otherwise you end up with a puzzle. 

 

I then removed some of the bricks not required and mounted

the one I did require onto my mat and layer.

 

I stamped my sentiment into an area where the bricks have

been removed so the whole card is balanced.

Mirror Stamping

This card was for Creativity TV

whereby it was demonstrated in full.

 

Basically it is the same stamp used twice once

straight onto white card and the second time on to

acetate and then placed onto the white card below

the first stamped image.  The second image is

reversed and is also a much lighter image.

It looks like the frog is standing at the waters edge.

The products used are all from DoCrafts.

 

 

Baby Boys

I get asked for baby cards and I never seem to have any!

 

These two cards are for boys and they are from the

Forever Friends New Arrival Collection.

 

 

 

 

All I have added to the pack is using punches and dies 

and a couple of brads.

Tilly - Gate Fold

Tilly Daydream gate fold card

 

This card has been made using one sheet of grey card stock.

Using my score board I scored two score line at 5cm intervals

either site of the card and cut each side at an angle to add shape.

 

 

Tilly Daydream topper mounted onto matching backing papers.

All papers, toppers etc have had there edges inked to remove

any white edges.

 

I have used some of the packaging for the inside of the card.

Once the paper has been glued to the card blank it

was then sanded at the edges to age.

Each piece was then layered and adhered to the card

as seen.

 

Very pleased with the outcome.

Christmas in July

Challenge 15 - Christmas in July

Hello everyone! Well with weather like we are having

Christmas is the last thing on my mine - just

trying to get somewhere to cool down is like finding gold,

but I'm not complaining as it is so rare to actually get a

good period of sunshine.

Well onto my DT project for Cards For Men Challenge 15

I have used Penguins Little Letter Digi Stamp

coloured in with watercolour pencils.

 

 

Tilly Daydream and Lucy Cromwell papers,

Memory Box Die, Xcut snow flake die,

Digital sentiment, Diamond stickles for highlights.

This a piece of Lucy Cromwell backing paper cut out and
used as a banner.

 

All papers and embellishments have been distresses with a

light blue ink.

Mens Card Kits by Lucy Cromwell

Here are two cards made from a card kit designed by

Lucy Cromwell.

 

Both can be for various occasions, with a man in mind.

 

They are both A5 and have a part cutaway to follow

the main image on the card.

 

You really do not need to add anything apart

from a bit of silicone or dimension pads.

Six Fold Card

 

Six Fold Card using Chronology range - DoCrafts

 

There is a video of me making this card on Creativity TV.

 

This is the card in its folded form, with black organza ribbon

keeping it closed.  Old fashioned balloon decoupage as the

main image.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have used Xcut stamp die on cream paper with the cogs

stamp comings off the page in opposing corners.

 

The card is made from one piece of Kraft card 8" x 12"

 

Score at 4" and 8" on 12" length side,

score at 2" and 6" on shorter side.

Cut away where I have placed crosses and

also cut on dashed lines etc.

 



 

Your finished sheet should look as below, ready to decorate.

 

 

I hope this explains the principle well enough for everyone to follow.

 

Scrapbook Card

This card can be made like a scrapbook page if required, but on

this occasion the card was carried out in a demo,

so no picture images have been added.

 

This is from the All Aboard range from DoCrafts.

 

8 x 8" card blank covered in Atlas backing paper with a couple

of slits made to hold the calendar and passport pocket prior

to adhering to the card blank.

 

The plane image is in fact a book mark and can be taken off

of the card and used (gift).
